Our School

Welcome to Fakenham Infant and Nursery School from all the staff and children.

We are a thriving and successful school serving the families of Fakenham and surrounding villages.

We have a Nursery unit which has places for pupils aged between 2 and 4.  The main school takes children from Reception to Year 2.

We are a very friendly and welcoming school and we aim to build a strong and long-lasting relationship with parents and the local community. 

School Organisation

• The children enter the main school in Reception and at the end of that school year move into Year 1 before moving into Year 2 for their final year.  Your child will always have his or her individual needs met through careful planning by the class teacher.
• The Nursery class is in a detached building, joined to the Family and Early Childhood centre adjacent to the main school. Our Nursery and Reception classes work closely together as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This allows considerable integration of the children and staff and sharing of equipment and resources.  In particular we place great emphasis on outdoor learning.
